
【#Tech24H】At 7:59 pm (Beijing Time) on May 12, a Long March-6A lifted off from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, subsequently delivering the 9th satellites group for the Qianfan constellation into present orbits. The launch mission was a complete success. The Long March-6A is China’s first solidliquid strapon carrier rocket, capable of accommodating multiple launch configurations including single satellite, dual satellites, triple satellites, stacked satellites, and sidemounted satellites. It has a lift capacity of no less than 4.5 tonnes to a Sunsynchronous orbit at an altitude of 700 km. This mission marked the 642nd flight of the Long March series carrier rockets.
