【#Tech24H】Recently, on Zheduo Mountain at an altitude of 4,700 meters in Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, a robot dog named “Chengxiaoxing” from CX ROBOT CONNECT successfully completed an inspection challenge, becoming China’s first robot dog to perform inspection tasks at such a high altitude. Test results showed that at 4,700 meters, even under harsh conditions such as no signal, heavy snow blocking mountain passes, and sudden shifts among rain, snow, and hail, the robot dog was able to operate autonomously and stably throughout the process without need for remote control intervention. This successful challenge means that inspection robot dogs can fully replace human workers in high-risk scenarios such as emergency rescue and high-altitude operation and maintenance.  [ By Zhang Liyan | Tang Ruohan ]
