【#Tech24H】On March 29, at the Artificial General Intelligence Forum during the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference, the Beijing Institute for General Artificial Intelligence unveiled the world’s first general-purpose intelligent humanoid TongTong's 3.0 version. TongTong 3.0's learning pathway consists of multiple key modules, each capable of receiving learning tasks from the main learning pathway, which in turn triggers TongTong to learn.TongTong 3.0 can also actively acquire knowledge by reading and watching videos through search engine content. Unlike traditional AI, which is data-driven, TongTong is driven by causality and values, enabling it to understand complex instructions, autonomously plan actions, and demonstrate human-like social and growth capabilities. Currently, TongTong 3.0 possesses the mental capacity of a 5 to 6-year-old child. It not only accurately understands the other party’s intentions but also guides conversations in accordance with its own personality traits, achieving consistency between words and actions.
