【#Tech24H】On March 24, the National Astronomical Observatories of the Chinese Academy of Sciences released the LAMOST DR13 dataset, bringing the total number of spectra to over 30.82 million, surpassing 30 million for the first time. This dataset continues to maintain the leading position globally in terms of spectral data volume released by international sky survey projects. The observation period for this release spans from October 2011 to June 2025, covering 6,961 low-resolution sky regions and 3,404 medium-resolution sky regions. As China’s first major national science and technology infrastructure in astronomy, LAMOST has been operating efficiently for 14 years, with its spectral data volume ranking first globally for 12 consecutive years, establishing the world's largest spectral database.
