【#Tech24H】China’s domestically developed large fixed-wing drone “Taurus” (FP-985) completed a long-distance logistics flight between the plateau regions of Sichuan and Xizang on Wednesday. This marks the first successful verification flight of large drone logistics conducted in China’s plateau environment. The drone has a maximum takeoff weight of 5.7 tons, a payload capacity exceeding 2 tons, and a range of over 2000 kilometers. It can transport cargo over long distances in extreme environments, from cold plateau regions to the salt fog conditions of islands. It is also capable of short takeoff and landing at standard airports and can be flexibly deployed at simple airfields.
