【#Tech24H】At 16:00 on January 12, the LiHong-1 Yao-1 aircraft, developed by Zhongke Aerospace, successfully completed its suborbital flight test mission at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. The return payload capsule landed safely via a parachute system and was successfully recovered. The aircraft reached an altitude of approximately 120 kilometers, crossing the Kármán line into space. It carried a microgravity laser additive manufacturing returnable scientific experiment payload and space radiation-induced mutant rose seeds, among other items. This flight test successfully validated the re-entry, deceleration, and recovery of the returnable payload capsule, while also testing precise landing control technology for the vehicle’s sub-stage. The mission contributes to accumulating relevant technologies for future endeavors in space manufacturing, space experiments, space medicine, and space tourism.
