【#Tech24H】On January 7, a series of scientific simulation research results from the Chinese Space Station Survey Telescope (CSST) were released. They comprehensively and systematically demonstrate the instrument performance and simulated data of the CSST survey camera and various precision measurement modules, providing reliable data support for the development and testing of the scientific data processing system, preliminary scientific research before the CSST launch, and its scientific operation after launch. The Chinese Space Station Survey Telescope has a 2-meter aperture and is the next-generation flagship space astronomy observation facility of China's manned space program. It is equipped with observation instruments including a large-field optical survey camera, a terahertz spectrometer, a multi-channel imager, an integral field spectrograph, and an exoplanet imaging coronagraph.
