【#Tech24H】Mars is now a cold and dry planet, but it was not always so. By analyzing high-frequency radar data obtained by the Zhu Rong rover, researchers from the Institute of Geology and Geophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences have discovered that significant water movement still existed on the surface of Mars about 750 million years ago. This extends the planet’s history of containing water by several hundred million years, providing new evidence for re-evaluating Mars’ climate evolution, geological processes, and potential habitability for life.
