Beijing, January 7 (Youth.cn) - On January 6, 2026, at a 220-kilovolt substation in Dingyuan County, Chuzhou City, Anhui Province, a 5G quadruped smart robot and maintenance personnel carried out inspections of the station’s main power supply equipment. 

The 5G quadruped smart inspection robot measures 1 meter in length and 0.9 meters in height. It is equipped with various sensors, including high-definition visible light cameras, infrared thermal imagers, and acoustic detectors, providing real-time monitoring and early warning capabilities.
