The exhibition brings together over 300 classic and newly created artworks from the collections of the National Art Museum of China, the Museum of the Communist Party of China, and the Military Museum of the Chinese People’s Revolution.
Upon entering the circular hall on the first floor of the National Art Museum, visitors are greeted by a relief from the Monument to the People’s Heroes depicting guerrilla warfare during the resistance, alongside classic works such as "Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Forces," "Meeting in Tokyo," and "Ode to Peace," setting the tone for the exhibition.
Themed "The People Will Prevail," the exhibition is organized chronologically by historical events and divided into five sections: Prologue, National Crisis, Fight in Blood, Great Victory, and March Toward Rejuvenation.
The exhibition features a diverse range of art forms, including Traditional Chinese painting, oil painting, printmaking, sculpture, watercolor, and sequential art.
