Beijing, August 6 (Youth.cn) - On August 5, 2025, in Altay Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the scenery along the Altay-Hemu highway is lush and green. 

The Altay-Hemu highway is a scenic self-driving route winding through the Altai Mountains. Stretching 209 kilometers, it ranges from an elevation of 810 meters at its lowest point to 3,200 meters at its highest. Especially in midsummer, travelers can enjoy a diverse natural panorama along the way, featuring snow-capped mountains, wetlands, lakes, rivers, forests, and grasslands. Photo/CFP
