Beijing, May 30 (Youth.cn) - On May 28th 2025, the polar research icebreaker "Xue Long 2" arrived in Haikou, Hainan, marking the successful completion of all tasks by China's 41st Antarctic expedition team. The vessel departed from Guangzhou on November 1st, 2024, undertaking a 208-day voyage covering over 40,000 nautical miles. A major highlight of this expedition was China's first joint research mission during the Antarctic autumn, focusing primarily on the Ross Sea ecosystem. Photo/CFP
