Beijing, May 26 (Youth.cn) - On May 24, 2025, passengers at Halim Station in Jakarta, Indonesia, posed for photos with the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway (HSR) trains. As a flagship  project of the Belt and Road Initiative constructed jointly by China and Indonesia, the HSR has now operated for 19 months, with all stations fully functional for nearly five months. It has transported over 9 million passengers, offering a safe, eco-friendly, and efficient travel option that slashes the journey between Jakarta and Bandung from over 3 hours to just 46 minutes.
