Beijing, May 23 (Youth.cn) - From May 21 to 22, 2025, herds of milu deer were spotted resting in Qinhu National Wetland Park, Jiangyan District, Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province. Located in the Lixiahe region, one of China’s three major low-lying areas, the wetland encompasses lake, river, and marsh ecosystems. It is divided into three functional zones: conservation, restoration, and sustainable utilization. In recent years, Jiangyan District has intensified ecological protection efforts through scientific planning, strict regulation, and habitat restoration, creating a safer and more comfortable environment for rare wildlife like the milu deer.
