
Beijing, May 20 (Youth.cn) - On the afternoon of May 19, 2025, in Rizhao, Shandong Province, the Gushenxing-1 (Ceres-1) Haiyao-5 carrier rocket, manufactured and assembled in Haiyang, Yantai, lifted off aboard the Oriental Spaceport launch vessel in the Yellow Sea. It successfully deployed four low-orbit data acquisition satellites - the Tianqi-05 satellite group (Satellites 16, 17, 18, and 20) - into a near-Earth orbit at an altitude of 850 km and an inclination of 45 degrees. This marked Haiyang’s 16th successful maritime launch mission with a cumulative total of 93 satellites into space. Photo/CFP
