Beijing, May 14 (Youth.cn) - On May 12-13, 2025, the Liberia-flagged vessel Yuan Fu docked at the Dock of Dongfang Port Operations Branch Company of Port of Lianyungang Company in Lianyungang Port, Jiangsu Province, to load wind turbine blades for export to Vietnam. The shipment includes eight sets of blades, each measuring 90.33 meters in length and weighing 35.77 tons. These blades are part of China’s domestically developed 6.25MW wind turbines, specifically designed to meet international market demands.
Since 2025, Lianyungang Port has actively positioned itself as a maritime hub along the Maritime Silk Road, establishing dedicated green channels for wind energy exports. This strategic initiative has streamlined the shipment of large-scale wind power equipment, fueling a steady rise in global exports of "Made in China" wind energy solutions. The port’s efforts underscore China’s growing role in advancing sustainable energy infrastructure worldwide. Photo/CFP
