
Beijing, April 8 (Youth.cn) - On April 7, 2025, in Shanghai, the Xue Long (Snow Dragon) polar research icebreaker docked at Pudong Port, marking the triumphant conclusion of China’s 41st Antarctic expedition.
The expedition mobilized 516 personnel from 118 domestic and international institutions, deploying a strategic trifecta of icebreakers across staggered phases. The Yong Sheng concluded its mission on January 23. Meanwhile, the Xue Long 2 continues its pioneering joint survey in the Ross Sea.The Xue Long 2 is scheduled to complete its Ross Sea mission by June. Photo/CFP
