
Beijing, March 17 (Youth.cn) - On March 15, 2025, tea pickers gathered at the Biluochun tea fields of Dongshan Tea Factory base in Wuzhong District, Suzhou, to harvest this year's crop.
Recently, the Dongting Mountain Biluochun tea-growing region in Wuzhong welcomed the concentrated harvesting period for "pre-Qingming tea," a premium variety picked before the Tomb-Sweeping Festival. Since the start of spring, favorable temperatures and abundant sunlight in the area have created ideal conditions for tea bud germination and fresh leaf picking.
In recent years, Wuzhong has focused on preserving tea culture, training skilled tea artisans, integrating tea industry development, and advancing tea-related technologies. By hosting diverse tea-themed events, the district continues to elevate the reputation of Dongting Mountain Biluochun as a regional public brand while driving quality improvements and efficiency gains across the local tea industry.
