Beijing, March 12 (Youth.cn) - On March 8, 2025, the Taihu Interchange in Suzhou shimmered under the night sky, its multi-tiered road network was outlined by colorful luminous bands. Vehicles weaved seamlessly through the glowing structure, embodying both the dynamic energy of a modern transportation hub and the harmonious fusion of urban nightscape aesthetics with cutting-edge infrastructure.
The Taihu Avenue Interchange, situated along the western route of Suzhou's Middle Ring Expressway, stands as the tallest interchange in East China, soaring 32.3 meters high. Its butterfly-inspired five-tier design features Lushan Road at ground level, four connecting ramps on the second tier, elevated directional ramps on the third and fourth tiers, and the Middle Ring Expressway's western route crowning the uppermost level.
