Beijing, March 3 (Youth.cn) - On March 2, 2025, in Dongtai Tiaozini Wetland, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, large flocks of migratory birds were seen soaring over the wetland.
Recently, species such as Eurasian curlews, black-tailed godwits, dunlins, Eurasian oystercatchers, black-faced spoonbills, black-bellied plovers, and Siberian sand plovers have arrived at the wetland in succession for stopovers and refueling, creating a spectacular scene of tens of thousands of birds soaring together.
As a core area of the World Natural Heritage Site - Migratory Bird Sanctuaries Along the Coast of Yellow Sea-Bohai Gulf of China - the Tiaozini Wetland has seen continuous ecological improvement in recent years. Millions of birds now visit annually to forage, rest, and breed, underscoring its vital role in global biodiversity conservation. Photo/CFP
