Beijing, February 21 (Youth.cn) - Folk artisan Ma Jiling is a municipal intangible cultural inheritor of cloths tigers. As a handiwork lover since child, she learned how to make cloths tigers from her mother. When she grew up, she went to Shandong Province to learn this skill from a local master. Back to Xinjiang, she started her own workshop. In process of pattern designing, plate making and cloths cutting, she integrated Xinjiang cultural elements into her art works. For other art works, such as earrings, hats and pillows, she also integrated art skills related to cloths tiger making. Her products with unique cultural characteristics are favored by customers.
