Beijing, January 22 (Youth.cn) - At 6:11 p.m. of January 20, 2025, Galactic Energy successfully launches its Ceres-1 (Remote Sensing 16) rocket in the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. The rocket carries Yunyao No.1 Satellites 37-40, and Argo Space Satellite A-05, in total of five satellites into the 535-kilometer-above-earth Sun-synchronous orbit.
The rocket is manufactured by Galactic Energy’s New Generation Solid Fuel Spacecraft Research and Production Center in Ziyang City of Sichuan Province. It is the center’s first rocket produced and assembled, as well as the first commercial rocket made by Sichuan private owned companies.
