Beijing, January 22 (Youth.cn) - On January 21, 2025, the Lin Jing Dough Sculpture Studio in the Dongguan Village of Wangdu County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is making snake themed dough sculptures, for the upcoming Year of the Snake. The dough sculpture is a traditional craft of the Chinese people dated back to the Han dynasty, when it was described in historical records. Through thousands of years, the dough sculpture has involved into treats with artistic touches, being fond of by the Chinese people.

As the Spring Festival is coming, delicate and full-of-blessing dough sculptures have met an increasing market, which the craftswomen of the Dongguan Village is busy for. Photo/VCG
