Beijing, January 16 (Youth.cn) - On January 14, 2025, lanterns of the Si Snake are being set on the city wall of Xi’an. The highly anticipated Xi’an City Wall Lantern Fair will begin on January 22 in the Yongning Gate area (the wall section from the Wenchang Gate to the Zhuque Gate) of the city wall. Firstly held in 1984, the 38th lantern fair will last until March 9 (February 10 of the Chinese lunar calendar), for 47 days. Photo/VCG
