Beijing, January 6 (Youth.cn) - On January 4, 2025, the Jiachen Year (2025) Laba Festival Temple Fair of the Wenshu Monastery begins in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. The Wenshu Monastery has prepared various traditional custom experience for its visitors, aiming to bring the fascination of the Laba Festival to all.  

Chengdu has made the Laba Festival Temple Fair of the Wenshu Monastery, which has been held for over 300 years as the most representative and influential custom of the southwest China, an intangible cultural heritage in 2020. During every Laba Festival, the Wenshu Monastery holds blessing ceremony, lantern offering, porridge giving, touring of the venue, performances, and other activities for its visitors, for the convenience of the public and passing of the tradition.
