Beijing, January 3 (Youth.cn) - On January 2, 2025, a locomotive is wearing a cute sweater in the Shiguang Station Pedestrian Street of Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. Previously a DF4C locomotive, the locomotive and the train now serve as an attraction for citizens after some artists’ creativity work and modifications.  

The train, south of the Shijiazhuang Liberation Museum, sits in a former station, free to all. Its carriages are transformed into cafés and virtual reality experience rooms. The pillars of the station are also decorated with plush toys. The locomotive will keep wearing its sweater until the summer of 2025, warming people’s hearts. 

The development of Shijiazhuang once depended on its vital location in the train network of China, which makes trains take a special position in the hearts of its citizens. Photo/VCG
