Photo List Saiga antelopes are searching for food in Beita Mountain

Beijing, December 20 (Youth.cn) - On the Gobi Desert within the border of Beitashan Ranch of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps 6th Division in Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, groups of saiga antelopes are searching for food. The endangered wild saiga antelopes are second class protected animals of China. They live in groups in semi-desert areas, wandering on the grasslands, following the green. Recently, the number of the saiga antelopes is going up, thanks to the improved living condition, a result of the reinforcement of the local wildlife protection. Photo/VCG
