Beijing, December 12 (Youth.cn) - Sonam Dargye Animal Protection Station, built along the Qinghai-Tibet Highway, is the first station in China that fights against wild hunt. It was built 4,470 meters above sea level. 600 square kilometers’ area is brought into its responsibility range. Every year, Tibetan antelopes migrate to the region after they give birth to the baby antelopes. Some baby antelopes may be attacked by their natural enemies, get lost or feel weak when weather is bad. If it happens, rangers will take them to the animal protection station. The animal protectors will give wild training to them when they are over 1 year old. They will be put back to the antelope group in the nature when they grow up to 2 years old. Photo/VCG
