Beijing, August 15 (Youth.cn) - Professional personage returned black-tailed gulls to wild in Qingdao, Shandong Province on August 13th. From incubating, to wild-exercising, to return it to wild, it is the first time China achieved an all-process rescue of black-tailed gulls. In this April, coast guard in Qingdao seized an illegal hunting case - a fisherman stole seagulls’ eggs. Personage in Life Science College, of Ocean University of China artificially incubated more than 40 black-tailed gull chicks from intact gull eggs. Without experience of incubating and feeding, they tried their best to complete the all-process of rescue. To assure black-tailed gulls successfully return to wild, the zoo that accepted the baby gulls prepared simulate wild environment that contain natural elements like flowing water, mud flat, plants and sand.
