Beijing, July 31 (Youth.cn) - Photo taken in Qionghai, Hainan Province on July 30th. Introduced from Central and South America, Orossa fruits were successfully grown in Hainan Province and presented in the “World tropical fruit vitrine”. The fruit has ovoid shape, thin skin. It is green before mature and turns bright orange when grown. With appearance like mango, it has pimples on its surface. It tastes a little bit salty, and can be eaten fresh or mixed with other fruits to salads, smoothies or ice creams. Until now, the “World tropical fruit vitrine” in Dalu Town has over 500 kinds of tropical fruits introduced from Central and South America or south-eastrn Asia. Photo/VCG
