Beijing, July 5 (Youth.cn) - On July 4, 2024, in the farmlands of Denggua Natural Village, Daming Village, Wenxu Town, Mengshan County, Wuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, villagers were harvesting tender ginger (May Ginger) for market supply. Tender ginger is planted in the first lunar month and harvested for market in the fifth lunar month each year, hence it is locally known as "May Ginger."  Currently, Mengshan's "May Ginger" has entered its peak harvest season, with the purchase price at the field around 8 yuan per kilogram. Photo/ VCG
