Beijing, June 24 (Youth.cn) - On June 24th, 2024, in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, workers were working high above the ground at the renovation site of an old residential area in Hongba Community, Rucheng Street, Rugao City.

This year, Rugao City has commenced construction on eight renovation projects for old residential areas. These projects aim to enhance the overall appearance, improve living functions, and optimize spatial quality, covering aspects such as solar panel standardization on rooftops, waterproofing, roof renovation, additional street lighting, and optimization of green spaces. It is reported that since 2020, Rugao City's main urban area has completed 15 renovation projects for old residential areas, improving 148 buildings and benefiting over 4700 households by enhancing their living conditions. Photo/ VCG
