Beijing, June 5 (Youth.cn) - Photo taken on June 3rd in Jinzhong, Shanxi Province. Sunset glow applied beautiful filter to the quiet Huiji Bridge. On opposite across river stands Pingyao Ancient City. Huiji Bridge is a stone arch bridge with 9 holes. It stands nearby lower east gate of Pingyao Ancient City in Jinzhong, Shanxi Province. Built across Huiji River, it has typical bridge construction characteristics of Qing Dynasty and certain scientific research value for the study of bridge construction in Qing Dynasty. The scenic spot was named “view of nature on bridge over river” in late Qing Dynasty, which was also one of the 12 famous tourism spots in Pingyao. It is now one of the national key heritage sites.
