Beijing, November 6 (Youth.cn) - On November 5th, 2023, villagers were harvesting corn in Woerta Jiyeke North Village, Jiyeke Town, Yumin County, Tarbagatay Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.  

In 2023, the corn planted in Yumin County achieved a bumper harvest, with an average yield of around 1400 kilograms per mu. Local farmers seized the current sunny weather to harvest corn and ensure that the grains were returned to the warehouse. Photo/ VCG
