BEIJING, Feb. 8 (Xinhua) -- A report on Chinese names released Monday showed that 30.8 percent of Chinese share the five most widely used family names of Wang, Li, Zhang, Liu and Chen.

　　The report was based on household registration information across China in 2020, said a research center affiliated with the Ministry of Public Security.

　　More than 10 million babies born in 2020 saw their household information registered by the end of the year, said the report, noting that newborn girls accounted for 47.3 percent. Enditem
