Photo List “The Blood Chit”: a TV series adapted from historical events

The US soldier whose thoughts were with China

“The Blood Chit” will air on prime time CCTV-8 on Sep 18. This TV series tells a touching story about Chinese militaries and civilians risked their own lives to rescue a “Flying Tiger” pilot during the anti-Japanese War. As a “red TV series” full of positive energy, it vividly reproduces the real history, remakes the friendly exchange between China and America and boosts the same warm memory of different nations. In the spring of 1944, a US “Flying Tiger” pilot Glen Beneda was ordered to aid China in the anti-Japanese War. Unfortunately, he was attacked in an air war against Japanese Force. He made an emergency landing in Li Jian County, Hu Bei Province, where the local villagers shouldered the mission to escort Beneda to safety zone. At last, the “Barefoot Force” has succeeded in ensuring the safety of Beneda while losing a dozen people of themselves in the 60 days startling trip.
