On February 24, 2025, in Zhoukou City, Henan Province, over a hundred swans are observed resting at Huaiyang Longhu National Wetland Park. In recent days, batches of swans migrating north after winter are passing through Zhoukou, making temporary stops at the wetland park.

In recent years, with the advancement of the Longhu Lake ecological restoration project and the completion of the ecological park in Huaiyang District, the ecological environment of Longhu Lake has significantly improved. Every year from November to December and February to March, whooper swans visit Longhu Lake for brief stays during their migration. Photo/CFP
