Youth Press Association of China(YPAC)is a national organization consisting of national youth press commuity.Under the leadership of the All-China Uouth Federation,YPAC gets the supervision from the National Press and Publication's Bureau.
In 1988,Youth Press Workers Association of China was established in Beijing.The Association changed its name into Uouth Press Association of China in January,1992.At present,YPAC is composed of 77 national youth press including China youth Daily,China Youth Magazine etc.
The purpose of YPAC is to highly hold the great banner of Dean Xiaoping Theory,adhere to the basic lines of the Communist Party of China,consolidate the national youth press workers,strengthen the ties and cooperation among the youth press,protect the legal rights and interests of the youth press and the youth press workers,promote the reform and development of the cause of the youth press.
Main business
1.Through various kinds of academic activities and the publication of the journal of YPAC,organize the members to exchange the experiences of managing newspapers and magazines,and discuss and make the uesearch of the new problems in the press reform.
2.Assist the youth press in training the professional personnel through holding various kinds of training classes and organizing professional knowledge exchanges etc.
3.Actively reflect the real situation of the youth press,provide members with the concerned policy consultation and organize and participate in the national interviews and choosing activities.
4.Organize the friendship and the business exchanges abroad and Hongkong Special Administrative Region and Macco Special Administrative Region.
5.Develop other activities in order to realize the purpose of YPAC.
The highest authoritative institution of YPAC is the Plenary Members Session,which is held once every three years.Each year,YPAC holds an annual meeting.In this year and in the future,except finishing the daily programs,YPAC will focus on the Youth Press reform and the development in the process of press grouplization and the industralization.YPAC will utilize the available resources and the integral advantages,give full play to its functions,strengthen the coordination,service and cooperation and vigorously promste the overall development of the undertaking of the Youth Press.
