The annual Beijing International Cultural & Creative Industry Expo is bring novel ideas in the area of culture. The third session of this year's event has just opened with forums and an award ceremony.
On Wednesday and Thursday, thirteen forums were held in Beijing on the creative cultural industry. Officials in cultural institutions around China, managers in culture related firms, and experts on creative cultural industry convened to exchange ideas.
The annual Cultural & Creative Industry Forum has been a brain storm for the field. This year is the event's third run. The topics of this year's forums include integrating cultural firms into a base, analyzing investment format in cultural industry, development of new media, and the advantage and strategy of Chinese cultural industry in post Olympic area.
After the opening lectures held on Wednesday afternoon, an award ceremony was held. It gave out trophies to the cultural firms, bases or projects which are characterized with creative ideas, have a potential of rapid development, and sound prospects for receiving investment.
