Golfing superstar Tiger Woods remained the joint leader after the opening round of the Australian Masters at Melbourne's Kingston Heath course on Thursday.
The world number one shot a six-under-par round of 66, as did Australia's James Nitties and South African Branden Grace.
New Zealander Doug Holloway and Australia's Cameron Percy are both one shot off the lead, shooting rounds of 67.
Kingston Heath was packed with a 21,356 crowd, around 21,000 of whom were there to see Woods.
Despite being unhappy with lagging a few iron shots, Woods was satisfied with his day, and impressed with the crowd.
"I hit the ball pretty good today," he said.
"People down here are just great. They're very knowledgeable about the game of golf and very excited."
