Singer and fashion icon Madonna feel off her horse while horseback riding in Bridgehampton and suffered minor injuries after a photographer jumped out of the bushes and spooked the animal, her publicist said.
Liz Rosenberg said the 50-year-old was in the Hamptons at the time of the accident Saturday. "The accident occurred when the horse Madonna was riding was startled by paparazzi who jumped out of the bushes to photograph the singer, who was visiting friends."
Madonna was taken to a Southhampton hospital and later released with minor injuries and bruises, spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg said.
She is currently being monitored by doctors while she recovers, the publicist said.
