Playboy doll Anna Nicole Smith's longtime companion and lawyer Howard K. Stern was charged on Wednesday with five more felonies stemming from her 2007 death.

The additional charges -- which had already been filed against Smith's psychiatrist, Khristine Eroshevich, and her internist Sandeep Kapoor -- are four counts of obtaining fraudulent prescriptions and one count of prescribing, administering or dispensing controlled substances to an addict.

Los Angeles prosecutors charged the three in March with conspiring to provide her with controlled substances. All three have pleaded not guilty.

Stern, who is an attorney, was charged with three counts of conspiring to commit a crime, two counts involving unlawfully prescribing a controlled substance and one count of prescribing, administering or dispensing a controlled substance to an addict.

Stern pleaded not guilty to the latest charges in Wednesday's court hearing.

A one-time Playboy Playmate, Smith was 39 when she died in Hollywood, Florida on Feb. 8, 2007, of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs, about five months after the birth of her daughter and death of her 20-year-old son, who also died of a drug overdose just three days after his half-sister's birth.

Following Smith's death, a legal battle erupted over who fathered her daughter, Dannielynn Hope. DNA tests determined it was photographer Larry Birkhead, who now has custody of the girl. Stern had also contended that he was the father.
