Amy Winehouse's Special show

http://en.youth.cn   2009-08-24 15:48:00

Amy Winehouse has made a surprise appearance alongside The Specials.

The 25-year-old singer took to the stage with the 2 Tone legends at the Chelmsford, Essex, part of Britain's V music festival on Saturday (22.08.09).

As she was introduced, Amy yelled: "I'm not f**king ready!"

She eventually made her way onto the stage and performed 'You're Wondering Now' and also sang backing vocals on 'Ghost Town'.

Encouraging the crowd to get involved, she shouted: "Sing it f**king louder, V!"

Amy – who recently returned to the UK after an extended break in St. Lucia, where she battled her addictions to alcohol and drugs – looked the picture of health, wearing the same black-and-white checked vest she opted for during her shambolic performance at the festival last year.

The 'Rehab' star's decision to perform was taken at the last minute, after The Specials personally asked her to sing with them.

She missed the group's recent tour as she was in St. Lucia, and so decided to travel to the festival to catch them in action.

After meeting the band backstage, she was only too happy to belt out some tunes alongside them.
