Turkey on July 7 condemned recent missile launches by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), saying the tests showed the country continuously disregarded the caution of the international community.
The DPRK's moves violated relevant UN Security Council resolutions and were a cause of deep concern, said the Turkish Foreign Ministry in a statement.
The ministry called on the DPRK to fully abide by relevant UN Security Council resolutions and to adopt maximum restraint.
The DPRK fired a total of seven ballistic missiles on July 4, raising international concerns over regional security.
According to the Joint Forces of the Republic of Korea (ROK), the seven missiles, estimated to have a range of 400-500 km, were fired off the east coast from a base near Wonsan, Gangwon Province.
