A military parade will be the most important part of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of New China. Soldiers from the People's Liberation Army are training hard for their participation. With less than a month to go, their training has moved into high gear.
Members in the square formation of special troops are undergoing the marching exercise.
The speed of the parade is very strict. The exact pace of the formation is one hundred and sixteen steps per minute. Each step is 75 centimeters.
Fang Yuhu, a member of Special Troop Formation, said, "As the first line of the formation, every step I make decides the order of the whole formation. The size and speed of my steps are very accurate after hours of preparation."
