【Tech 24H】Chinese scientists have recently successfully developed a novel "dual-mode" LiDAR system. It effectively combines the advantages of traditional scanning LiDAR and flash LiDAR, ensuring both high precision and long-range detection capabilities while also significantly improving detection efficiency. In the future, this more efficient, flexible, and compact "dual-mode" LiDAR is expected to play an important role in autonomous vehicles, smart robots, and drones, which will further enhance machines' ability to "see" the world.
