　　People’s Voices on Xi’s Trip to the Middle East
　　Sino-Egyptian Relations is the starting point of China’s relation with Arab countries, which represents the height and intimacy of Sino-Arab Relations. Before starting the trip to Egypt, President Xi published a signed article on Egyptian newspaper on January 19th and put forward four propositions on Sino-Arab relations: China and Arab should be the practitioners of free development path; We should be the defenders of regional peace; The pushers of mutual beneficial cooperation and the animateurs of diversity of civilization, which were interpreted by media as the ballast promoting Sino-Arab relations.
　　As early as 2014, on China-Arab Cooperation Forum, President Xi had mentioned “Shoes needn’t to be same, but to be adequate to feet; policies needn’t to be the same, but to be favorable to people”. Whether shoes are suitable or not, only the people who wears them knows clearly. Whether the development path is appropriate to a country or not, only the people of this country have the rights to evaluate. A country needs respect, especially the respect on its independent choice on system and development path. There exist complex contradictions and hot spots among the Middle East countries, but China has the patience to resolve contradictions and settle the claims for the purpose of setting apart more space for political solutions. Under the background of “Arab Spring” in 2011, the reason why China and Egypt can keep a stable and good developmental trend is that they are willing to keep mutual respect to each other. On Syrian issue, both China and Egypt emphasize on defending the national unity of Syria. The path of a state and nation is realized and orderly pushed by people’s independent exploration without breaking away from the historical and cultural tradition, the economic development. Therefore, Chinese have the sympathetic visage with them.
