Overseas returnees face various obstacles to marriage in China

  Pressure from work and parents

  A recent survey by overseas education agency EIC Group showed that singles accounted for 58 percent of the 8,000 overseas returnees surveyed who are aged between 20 and 30. It can also be seen from recent blind dates involving overseas returnees that many of them are aged between 28 and 35. They said frankly that their busy work leave them little time to make new friends. Moreover, their social circle is narrow and is often limited to colleagues.
