Grape harvest season begins in SW China

Farmers sort out and pack grapes at Liantang Village of Rongjiang Town in Xing'an County under Guilin City, a tourist resort in southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Aug. 24, 2012. Xing'an County, beginning on Friday this year's grape harvest season, planted 125,000 mu (8,333 hectares) of grapes of 46 breeds in 2012, which is estimated to yield a production value of 1.2 billion RMB yuan (188.79 million U.S. dollars).
