A blast rocked southeastern Turkey's Hakkari city as a military convoy was passing between villages about 20 km away from the city center on Wednesday, local Dogan News Agency reported, adding that two more explosions followed the initial blast in city's Semdinli district.
Members of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) are alleged to have planted the explosives on the highway and detonated them as the military vehicles passed.
Two military helicopters were sent to the area immediately, the report said.
